Asphalt Sealcoating

New asphalt pavement should be sealed about 1 year after the new pavement is installed. For older pavement, or pavement that has been sealed before, sealing every 2-3 years is ideal.

By applying a coat of asphalt sealer to the pavement, it preserves the smoothness and resilience of the asphalt surface, as well as locking in the essential oils of asphalt. By keeping these oils locked into the pavement, this will slow down the aging process by keeping the pavement from becoming brittle. The sealer forms a durable coating that also protects the asphalt from the damaging effects of weather, water, salt and gas. Our sealer is mixed with 3-5 pounds of sand per gallon and 3% latex rubberized additive to give a non-slick, skid free surface for safety as well as durability.
